Teige is a an actor and writer based in Nashville, Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Theatre Performance from Belmont University, having also spent a semester training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He will be studying at Drama Studio London as a member of the school's 2-year MFA Professional Acting Training Program beginning in the Fall of 2025.
Teige seeks to collaborate with artists and creatives of all kinds, with a great love for delving into, absorbing, and incorporating the processes of painters, musicians, novelists, sculptors, composers, poets, dancers, and others into the art of Theatre. He loves creatives such as Rimbaud, Picasso, Octavio Paz, Suzan-Lori Parks, Roberto Bolaño, Goethe, Shakespeare (obviously), and many others.
As a writer, his play The Rehearsal was performed under the title It Felt Like a Kiss at Belmont University in Fall of 2023. Additionally, he is currently co-developing a short play/devised theatre cycle entitled A Small Part of The Interesting Story alongside his dear friend and collaborator Abigail McCurdy to be premiered at Belmont University's Blackbox Theatre running October 3-5, 2025.
